DADA

The summer is flying to an end soon, how I miss the time of the hot season because I can eat ice cream with the sea breeze, swim in the forest in a pair of shorts only, and walk topless on deserted streets at night. It will not affect my love of this season even if there are frequent rainstorms and typhoons.

My brother bought a CD which was Jimmy music album that we liked very much in 2002 while I was still a college student. The CD put together a lot of classic songs to form the background music of the Jimmy comics book. There is a song in the album named Summer of my dream, it immediately attracted me with beautiful melody, fairy-tale lyrics and bel canto. Whenever I hear this song, it is like seeing the beautiful sight of sunlight through the leaves.

My grandfather was hospitalized during my summer vacation that year. Every sunny afternoon, I pushed my grandfather in a wheelchair for a walk under the shade of the trees. That was the last time my grandfather and I got along. When I heard this song, I always look back on our last happiness in the summer of that year.
